TRICOR Systems Inc

TRICOR Systems, Inc. is a United States based electronic contract design and manufacturing company with over 40 years of experience.  They provide part procurement, circuit card assembly, cables, harnesses, discreet wiring, mechanical assembly, complete box build and test. TRICOR serves the medical, aerospace, military and industrial/commercial sectors. Below are some aspects of TRICOR that explain why they have stood the test of time where so many other companies have perished.

The following are a few of the key medical applications where ElectroCraft motors empower medical motion control.

Diversified Sectors

Where many manufacturing companies have failed to survive the past three decades of offshoring, TRICOR has thrived by remaining diversified.  By serving multiple sectors, TRICOR has been able to shift their focus to the sectors that are thriving. For example, when the Berlin Wall came down and the Cold War ended, their primary focus was military work. But, soon after the wall fell, they realized that it was time to shift focus so they began to develop and manufacture chocolate temper meters for the confectionary industry. That was quickly followed by a number of products for testing switches and looking at the appearance of a final product for gloss, haze, DOI and color. In 2006, TRICOR expanded its offerings again when they were approached to manufacture a dental product. That is when they quickly realized that the medical industry was similar to the military/aerospace industry. All three understood the importance of quality and therefore were interested in a high-quality product that would not fail in the field.

Commitment to Quality

TRICOR Systems is known for its commitment to quality. They hold several quality certifications which include ISO 13485:2016 for the medical industry, as well as ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100D for the aerospace industry. In addition to their certifications, they were awarded the Boeing Gold Supplier Excellence Award for seven consecutive years for one hundred percent quality and delivery. TRICOR’s commitment to quality is another cornerstone of why it has been able to survive as a manufacturer in the United States where so many other companies have met their demise.

Start-Ups

TRICOR’s longevity has allowed its experienced employees to gain knowledge that they pass on to their customers. With this knowledge and their ability to be flexible, it has made them a desirable contract manufacturing partner for start-up companies in the medical arena. TRICOR understands the ebb and flow of a new startup company and realizes that a good partner needs to be flexible in order to accommodate for all possible issues that can arise throughout the process. Working with start-ups for four, six and even eight years before a product is ready for large production, is an investment in time that breeds commitment and loyalty to each other.

Lasting Partnerships

TRICOR’s commitment to its customers and their success has led to lasting partnerships. Their customers, past and present, include American Medical Systems, Milestone Scientific, CS Medical, Medivators, Boeing, Honeywell, and UTC. Numerous lesser known companies have also taken advantage of TRICOR's engineering and electronic contract manufacturing capabilities.  As their customer’s business develops, they rely on TRICOR to design and manufacture their new, as well as, existing products. This mutual loyalty has spanned through decades and fostered a successful partnership.

Products

TRICOR has gained a reputation for innovative design by producing award-winning products for their customers. Their engineers combine electronics, mechanics and optics to produce incredibly unique equipment. TRICOR manufactures medical products for diagnostics, testing, cleaning, infection prevention and organ transport. They recently introduced the Dri-Scope Aid® family of products that aids in the drying of internal channels of endoscopes. TRICOR’s employees are very proud to produce such a diverse set of products that help make a difference in people’s lives.
